Lassie had no sooner left the live-action screen when she was recast as an animated character in Lassie's Rescue Rangers. In this incarnation, she lived with the Turner family (Mom, Dad, two sons, and a daughter) and worked with them and their Native American buddy Gene Fox, along with the animal "forest force" (a trained raccoon, turtle, mountain lion, etc.) and a helicopter to rescue people from fire, floods, and even terrorists. |
